So, this is my first tag, but since it’s about Doug, I’ll do it!

What’s your husbands name? Doug (or Douglas if you’re being all formal!)
How long have you been married? 6 years
How long did you date? 8 months, which is ideal, because apparently Mike D. thinks relationships go nowhere after 8 months!
How old is he? 37
Who eats more sweets? I’m not sure what he does at work, but I probably eat more at home, unless you count sugar free jello.
Who said “I love you” first? He did.
Who is taller? Doug
Who is the better singer? I’ll go with Doug on this one.
Who is smarter? Actual valuable information would be Doug, but I own  USWeekly and pop culture!
Who does the laundry? Me
Who pays the bills? Me.
Who sleeps on the right side of the bed? He does
Does he snore? I respectfully decline to answer!
What does he do in his spare time? Hangs out with the boys, builds video games, works on his grandfather’s spreadsheet, takes me out to dinner.
Who mows the lawn? The lawn people. It’s so worth the $35!
What is his favorite candy bar? He doesn’t eat a lot of candy bars. I think he would prefer a couple of Leonidas
Who cooks dinner? Me.
Who drives? Depends on where we’re going and what car we’re taking.
Who is the first to say they are wrong? Doug, but I would say it if I ever was wrong!!
Who kissed who first? He did, but he waited a very long time! I guess patience comes with age!

Who asked who out first? It’s all very confusing, but he definitely asked me on our second date.
Who wears the pants? I think we share that.
Does he say he loves you everyday? Yes.

Alrighty: Dixie, Jill and Christina I would like your answers next.

Pass the Post It Holder, or the Moose Gets it!

October 8, 2008 at 2:51 pm (Random Thoughts)

Help Me!

Help Me!

Alright, so maybe it isn’t exactly kosher to threaten a child’s stuffed animal, certainly when said animal only made its way into my house because someone was being extra thoughtful by bringing me dinner! But, I’m not above holding  a stuffed moose for ransom! Here’s the thing, Dixie made these super cute post-it holders and posted about them here. But how could she post them in all their cuteness, and then not post directions?! Who does that? I’ll tell you who … people who want to rub their paper craftiness in your (or, in this case my) face! Well, I’m not taking it anymore. I’ve got the moose and I’m not giving him back until I see some instructions. Actually he’ll probably go back when I return the Tupperware, but I’m making a point!

All (too)Quiet on the (south)Western Front

October 1, 2008 at 2:58 pm (Kids)

Who doesn’t love a little quiet time? I’m playing a relaxing game of tetris, and I’m thinking my kids are upstairs reciting their times tables and state capitals. They’re little geniuses, and I’m not one to stifle them. Unfortunately, William decided to work on self-paced computer engineering! On the bright side, I did learn how to reattach keys to the laptop. However, my spelling hasn’t been quite the same since it happened.

And, proving he belongs in our family, Benjamin has decided to nurture his curious side! I could take pictures every day of the mischief these boys find themselves in. It usually involves something edible, or something that makes a lot of noise.

There’s never a dull day around our  house!
